Presidents’ Day and Lincoln’s Undying Words, all ages, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Chicago History Museum. Discover the lives behind the legends of the American presidency. Join us for live music, family crafts, and storytelling for kids. Special events include a performance by Chicago Brass Band and Meeting the Lincolns by With Lincoln Productions. Special family-friendly activities and performances are designed to honor and celebrate significant moments and figures in history. Visitors to the Museum have one last chance to see, “Lincoln’s Undying Words.” Discover how Abraham Lincoln’s changing views toward slavery transformed America. The exhibition explores this powerful story through five key speeches made by Lincoln between 1858-65. Rare treasures, including Lincoln’s family carriage and the bed in which he died, will be on view, supplemented by an audio program of selected excerpts from the speeches. www.chicagohistory.org
