About the movie:
The Land (2015) is a short documentary film about the nature of play, risk and hazard set in a Welsh “adventure” playground. At The Land children climb trees, light fires and use hammers and nails in a play-space rooted in the belief that kids are empowered when they learn to manage risks on their own. Learn more at playfreemovie.com.
About the chefs:
Chefs Tom Boldt and Josh Olson bring fine dining experience from restaurants across the country, including Commander’s Palace and Bayona in New Orleans, Charlie Trotter’s and Gibson’s Steak House in Chicago and 54 Main Bistro in Hobart, to Dunes Learning Center. They have donated their time to bring this fine dining experience to our Cowles Lodge and benefit Dunes Learning Center.
