Why an Expo?
The south suburbs are growing faster than anyone can keep up with. Sixty-three subdivisions are being built in New Lenox alone. Target, Lowes, Dunkin Donuts, Cardinal Fitness and Jewel are being built to accommodate the thousands of families flocking to the south and southwest suburbs. The new I-355 extension, currently under construction, is the biggest news of all.
People in the area are starving for family friendly events. Storeowners are looking to deliver these families to their businesses. There has not been a massive family event like the Kids Expo for the south suburbs, until now.
KIDS EXPO 2008, March 1, and March 2, Tinley Park Convention & Visitors Center will be twice as big, twice as long and two times better than its 2006 premiere.
