Kids love the changing seasons. They love watching all the leaves change on the trees and we don’t blame them. It’s our favorite part as well! Now your kids can make their own changing trees in some four season art.
< 30 min
What you’ll need:
2-9 years old
How To Make It:
To start , you will need tissue paper in an array of seasonal leaf colors (white for snow).
Use construction paper for the base and to cut out the tree trunk & branches.
Cut out the trees ahead of time and glue them down to the paper since your kids may be a little young to make the tree shape, but if your kids are older then they can cut it out & glue it down so you have a base to work with.
Then tear small pieces of tissue paper and crumple them up.
Rub each piece with the glue stick, or dip it in glue.
Stick the crumpled paper glue side down on a branch.
Using different colors to create the different seasons, such as white & silver for the winter snow, pink for the spring blossoms, green for the summer leaves, and yellow and orange for the fall leaves.
