Family Time has increased its reading area, which now spans over eight counties.  Our distribution has increased to over 70,000 magazines a month.  I must also say that I could never have realized my dream for Family Time without the help and support of my amazing staff.  Without their hard work we could not achieve what we do.   My family has also remained a constant support; they have always believed in my dream and me.

A key factor and driver of Family Times’ success is the different expos we put together on an annual basis.   I thought by bringing families together under one roof they could learn from sharing with one another as well as by all experiencing all of the unique products and services brought in by our clients.  We have our Baby Expo, Kid’s Expo and Pet Expo.  Each one offers a multitude of vendors and information for families specializing in the focus of each expo.  

My personal favorite is the Kids Expo.  It has become larger with each year and offers parents access to over 150 booths covering nearly every aspect of parenting; from camps to family healthcare.  It is so rewarding to see the smiles on the faces of the children who participate and to see families coming together and leaving with memories of having fun and learning something new.

The Baby Expo enhances the lives of families who are expecting new babies or who have infants and young children.  Families can seek the expert of advice of healthcare professionals and see the latest in baby toys and stroller inventions.  Topics include child seat safety, and every imaginable gadget for making life easier with a baby.

The Pet Expo also brings the whole family together by including and spotlighting the family pet as an important part of the family.  The Pet Expo offers veterinarians, pet shops and unique pet accessories.  Entertainment includes dog shows and photo contests just to name a few.

Most recently we had our first Special Needs Seminar in November.  We decided to bring together experts in the field as well as companies who offer services and products to help children with autism.  The turnout was spectacular and we plan to build on these types of specialized seminars as well.
